The sky's the limit

Something which we can learn from(part 1/5)

Today, during CDE-TTT lesson, our celebrated Mr Hamilton gave us a talk on resilience and also showed us a Youtube Video on a certain man who possesses a lot of resilience. I feel that we should all learn from this great man.
His name is Nick Vujicic. Nick Vujicic is a man born in 1982, with no arms and no legs, but with two small feet, one of which has two toes. That sounds bad to you? It is about to get much worse. He was constantly bullied in school and even started thinking about suicide at the young age of 8. Imagine you are 8 years old and you want to die, you are less than 10 years alive and yet you want to leave this world already. However, he pulled through and is now travelling around the world, giving motivational speeches to people everywhere. He also joined a organization for the physically disabled. His achievements are outstanding yet I had not heard of him before.
However, after i learnt more about him, I realized more about life. Life gives us troubles, not because it want us to fall and break down but because it want to make us grow stronger. I also realized that we should not be fussy about anything, we could have been born in a poor country where we do not enjoyed any of the benefits we are enjoying in Singapore. From Nick Vujicic, we can learn that one should never give up when we are in diffuclt situations. We should possess resilience to survive in life. Remember that a life is a life, and life is precious. Do not hate your life (like some emo people); you should love it.
